Location: The province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is integrated within the autonomous community of the Canary Islands, located in the Atlantic Ocean. The Islands that compose it are Tenerife, La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro. Its capital is Santa Cruz de Tenerife
Municipalities: 54 municipalities are who make up the province which depend in turn of a chapter for each of the Islands. The Organization of the province as we know it dates back to 1833 when the territories of Spain were divided.
